Jockey Person to Person, Inc., is a direct selling company that's part of Jockey
International, Inc (“Jockey”). Yes, that's right the world-famous underwear company!
Jockey Person to Person is owned and founded by Debra S. Waller, Chairman and CEO
of Jockey International, Inc., Jockey Person to Person sells its exclusive line
of clothing and accessories through a field sales force of independent Comfort Specialist®
consultants, who market Jockey Person to Person® products through home parties.
Q. I'm not a natural
salesperson. Can I succeed at this business?
We call our consultants “Comfort Specialists” for a reason – because the whole career
and party experience is comfortable and fun. If you enjoy socializing and can facilitate
“playing dress-up” with your girlfriends you have all the qualifications you need
to succeed. With Jockey Person to Person, it's about connecting with people, building
relationships and sharing beautifully-designed clothing and accessories backed by
a world-class brand. So, there are no hard-sell tactics, and in fact, the lack of
sales pressure as women try on our fashions makes for a relaxed home party experience
for all. The simplicity and elegance of our products and the shopping experience
are the main reasons so many customers and hostesses decide to become Comfort Specialist
consultants.

Q. What products does
Jockey Person to Person sell?
Although we're part of Jockey International, we don't sell JOCKEY® brand products.
Instead, Jockey Person to Person offers a unique collection of clothing and accessories,
identified with the JOCKEY PERSON TO PERSON® brand, and available exclusively through
Comfort Specialists. From smart casual to workout clothing – and a lot in between
– we offer comfortable fashions for women.
Q. I know Jockey sells
in retail stores, online and in its own stores. Can I buy Jockey Person to Person®
products in a retail store?
Jockey Person to Person products are marketed exclusively by Comfort Specialist
consultants, who sell our products through home parties, open houses, fairs and
shows and fundraisers.
Q. How can I buy Jockey
Person to Person® products?
Contact your Comfort Specialist consultant to place an order or host a party. As
a party hostess you have the opportunity to receive free and discounted products
as you share our fashion collection with friends and family. If you need a consultant,
click on "find a Comfort Specialist" and we'll have a local, independent Comfort
Specialist assist you.
Q. Will I have to
learn a whole bunch of stuff before I feel comfortable as a Comfort Specialist consultant?
You can relax and just be yourself right from the start because every aspect of
the business has been designed to be simple, easy and fun. Get your Business-Building
Kit, try on some of the clothing, check out our catalogue and website for a few ideas
on mixing and matching – and trust your instincts. Women come to the party to have
fun, try on new fashions and connect with friends. You'll find that you'll make
friends and build relationships whether you've watched countless hours of QVC or
not! And at most parties the guests just start trying on clothes and sharing ideas
with each other; your role is to provide a little organization to a shopping experience
that kind of just evolves naturally!
Q. I don't want to
impose on my friends. Is there a way around that?
The beauty of offering brand-name clothing and accessories from Jockey Person to
Person is that you will find that many of your friends – and their friends, and
so on – will welcome the opportunity to check out each season's collection. Not
only is this a no-pressure business model, but people honestly enjoy wearing our
clothing and accessories! Factor in the great service that you'll provide and you

Q. How do I get started?
That's easy! Call your Comfort Specialist consultant or visit her website and sign up online.
We'll send you your Business Building Kit – with a retail value of more than $1200 – for an
initial payment of just $49.95 plus tax ($30 initial payment + $19.95 shipping/handling + tax).
Achieve $1800 in sales by the end of your first full month and we'll waive the remaining kit
balance of $269, meaning all you'll have paid for your kit is $49.95 plus tax! The kit
includes business supplies and training materials, plus your sponsor will help, too.
When you're ready, you'll host your own "Announcement Party" so you can immediately start
earning profit, experience things from a hostess's perspective, and announce your new
business venture to your friends and family members.
Q. How much income
can I expect to earn?
The amount you earn depends on how much time and energy you decide to invest. Comfort
Specialist consultants make 25% - 40% commission on their own sales as well as additional
bonuses on the sales of other consultants they sponsor. Some of our Comfort Specialists
choose to sell just enough to get their comfy fashions at a discount, while some
of our Group Vice Presidents can make six-figure incomes.
In Canada, the primary source of income of a typical participant in the plan is from compensation on sales of products and commissions on downline sales and personal earnings will vary. A typical participant in the plan is defined as a Comfort Specialist(R) consultant who has been soliciting sales of products for a period of at least 12 months. A typical participant is projected to earn between C$1001 and C$8000. These earnings have been derived based on amounts earned by participants in the plan from June 2009 - May 2010. (Statement of Typical Canadian Participant Earnings 2010).
Q. What other benefits
does Jockey Person to Person offer to Comfort Specialist consultants?
Every Comfort Specialist gets access to our Online Support Center and customer e-newsletter
(which you can email to potential customers) for $8.95 / month. The support center is your
"back office to organize and run your business. You'll get a website from the time you
activate your site for $6.50 / month. You won't pay any credit card processing fees.
You'll also have the opportunity to earn group incentive trips and a fun variety of
prizes and awards regularly offered to business achievers.
Q. What support and
training does Jockey Person to Person provide?
With Jockey Person to Person, you're in business for yourself, but not by yourself.
Along with support from your sponsor and your upline leader, you'll get access to
our Smart Start training program (and the opportunity to earn fabulous product-sample-and-cash
awards). We'll help you get connected in an online consultant forum. We'll provide
you with a Business Building Guide, demo products and marketing tools. Our Customer
Care department is available every weekday from 9 am to 5 pm Central time. We regularly
hold training conference calls, which are all recorded and available to listen to
at any time – for free. We post videos packed with tips and information about the
clothing, body types and how to help people look their best, making it simple for
you to provide great service to your customers. And we hold an annual conference
and seasonal training and fashion show events throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Q. Are there any sales
quotas I must meet?
To maintain “active” status, you need to place at least $600 in orders in a rolling
3-month period. Think of it as just one or two parties every 3 months. You're free
to hold as many or as few parties as you like. You can also act as your own hostess
and reap the hostess benefits.
Q. What if this just
doesn't work out for me and I want to back out?
No problem! If you find this is not for you, simply send an email to our Customer
Care department and they will deactivate your account. You can still enjoy our products
as a hostess or customer.
